The origins of Lladró date back to a small craft workshop built in the mid-1950s in Almácera, near Valencia, Spain. Driven by their artistic restlessness and the desire for a better life, the three brothers, Juan, José and Vicente Lladró, sought new ways to produce porcelain.

The public was immediately enthusiastic about their creations and in a short time, the small workshop was expanded several times. A growing number of collaborators joined the team and the brothers’ work was able to reach even more interested people.
